Gone Too Soon

This is a poem about the past. Me and my friend were doing Genealogy and I wrote this

There are people who come into your life,
and snap they're gone.

And sometime they'll touch your life for the rest of your life!
This poem goes out to all the people who touched my life,

and they're gone too soon.
Was it a dream I saw you?

I let you get away from me,
so many things to learn

So much to say
words unspoken.

The things I didn't say,
but now it's too late.

Gone too soon
I waited to learn,

Now there's no one to teach.
Young people never sit down and talk to the older people!

and when they realze they should it's too late,
Gone too soon.

Where are we from?
Tell me about the past.

I'm all alone,
cause I let you get away

Gone too soon.

The Ladies Man - an unpublished poem

Hi I'm the ladies man,
the man who loves the ladies.

I'm what every man wants to be!
and every women's desire.

But when I'm home alone at night I cry,
'cause I don't have anyone to love.

I'm all alone in a world so cold!
I've had sex with a million women, but never once made love.

I would like to know what that feels like, to make love!
To have someone love me back.

I know all the tricks,
and I've played all the games.

I'm the ladies man,
and this ain't fun!

You wanna know what would be fun?
Is to have one woman love me for a lifetime.

To love one woman, not the hit and next as I play in the streets,
trying to make the feeling I think is love last.

Special - a song

This is a song I wrote awhile ago.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is gonna be a special song, cause I care alot for you.
This is gonna be a special song, just like the lady I'm singing it to!
You're so special and I love the way (I love the wayyaya I love the way)
I feel for you, and I hope you feel the same for me.
Cause this is the way I feel for you,
I love you so much I wanna shout it to the whole wide world.
And there nothing else for me to write--- in a song so I think I'll go back to where I started from
(repeat)

About my new project: A screenplay titled "The Royal Wish"

It is about a man named Royal Blue, he's a struggling blues singer who has gambling problem. He's falling in love with a young lady named Michelle Ross while he works at Big Joe's Blues Lounge.

The Pick - a screenplay

Another work in progress. About a man who has to choose between two women.
FADE IN:

EXT. CITY STREET - DAY

It is a clear and sunny day, on a typical inner city street.

A young man named STEVE WALLS is walking down the hill of the street where he lives.
A LADY walks past him.

                                LADY
You gonna look good coming off
                        this hill tomorrow!

                                STEVE(smiling)
                        Yeah.

INT. MRS. WALLS' HOME - MOMENTS LATER

Once inside the house, Steve hears someone arguing in the next room.

Bad Decision - a screenplay

Here is a snippet of another screenplay. I wrote this in 2007. This is a story of a man who made a decision to sell drugs. His name is Sol Steelman, he lives in a two story house with his three brothers. Sol has a friend named Larry Jackmont, Larry lives alone in an apartment.

FADE IN:

INT. A CITY BAR - DAY

LARRY and SOL are in a bar talking.

                                SOL
You know one thing: I'm gonna start
                        selling drugs for awhile.

                                LARRY
                        Sol, you can't do that!

                                SOL
But I'm tired of bein broke.

                                LARRY
I know you are. I'm tired of it
too. But you gotta find another
                        way.

                                SOL
                        I think you're right.

Hangin' on Sands - a screenplay

This is part of the opening scene of "Hangin' on Sands", a screenplay I wrote with a friend back in 2002.

FADE IN:

EXT. STREET CORNER - DAY

A typical inner city street corner. A single-story convenience store stands on the corner. Across the street from the store is a neighborhood bar.

George is standing in front of the store. George is in his early twenties, medium build.

                                GEORGE(V.O.)
This is a story of a city street
                        somewhere in Pennsylvania...

Across the street in front of the bar are two other men, a Drug dealer and an addict, in the mist of a deal.

                                GEORGE (V.O.) (CONT'D)
This is also my story. My name is
George Rowls. I have a friend named
                        Tony Dix. Everybody calls me "Gee";
                        they call Tony "Tee"...

A girl about twelve, rides down the street on a pink bicycle.

                                GEORGE (V.O.) (CONT'D)
The name of this street is Sands. Now,
first of all, Sands is a street that everyone
comes to. If you don't have anything better
to do, you hang on this one street where
the drugs are wide-spread, sex always
has a price, and every girl you get with
                        is hooked....
